The club was formed in November, 1925 and was known as the Household Science club. It was started to give women a time to study domestic issues and to enjoy a social time. The organization then helped to promote community projects.
The rose and the colors of pink and white were chosen as a symbol.
When projects are decided upon, volunteers are accepted to tak on the responsibility.
